- BRN is a mixed media artist that dabbles in jewelry, illustration, bookmaking, and digitally altering screenshots from her favorite online world. She cares for two cats, and they care for her. Her influences include Yoshitaka Amano, Audrey Beardsly,and Laurie Anderson. Her ideas come from disperate sources such as video games, Neil Gaiman's stories, H. P. Lovecraft,Steven King's novels, and the music of Green Day and the Beatles, among others. Her subjects are usually based on ancient myths and modern "New Age" concepts, and her own personal mythos created from the interaction of these two.
